Mark Booth has been an educator in Green Local Schools since August 1991. He has served as a 4th and 5th grade teacher along with serving as an elementary technology coordinator before stepping into the principal position at Green Intermediate School. Mr. Booth graduated from Malone University in Canton with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education in 1991 and received his Master's Degree from Ashland University in Elementary Administration in 1997.
Mr. Booth is dedicated to meeting the needs of all children in his building. He has created numerous programs that intervene and enrich students based on their individual needs. With the assistance of an amazing staff, the students of Green Intermediate receive a first class education. Mr. Booth believes in doing whatever it takes to see that all students succeed both academically and emotionally. His desire is for all Green students to have a mindset that they can accomplish great things through persistence, effort, and an appreciation for others. He is dedicated to planting the seeds of leadership in all students so their roots will go deep and they can stand strong throughout their lives.
Mr. Booth resides in Green with his wife, Debbie and two daughters.

Mr. Snavely has been a part of Green Local Schools for over 20 years.
He joined the Green Intermediate School administrative team in 2018. Mr. Snavely is a graduate of Malone University where, in 2004, he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (PreK-3) and Reading Endorsement (K-12). He continued his education and, in 2007, earned his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, securing an Administrative Specialist license in the areas of Curriculum, Instruction, and Professional Development, while also obtaining his Principal licensure. He is passionate about serving others and creating a positive school environment.
Before becoming Assistant Principal at GIS, he proudly taught 14 years within Green Local Schools. In addition to teaching in the classroom, he has also served in other various capacities within the district including Teacher Coach Cadre, Intervention Consultant, Curriculum Team Leader, and Mentor Teacher. In the past, he was honored as the District PTA "Teacher of the Year" and also nominated for the Summit All-County Teaching Team.
In addition to serving in the Green community, Mr. Snavely has collaborated at the collegiate-level as a Literacy Specialist/Consultant.
He is also a member of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
Mr. Snavely and his wife have two sons.
